S7E11 - Beat the Heat

Episode 11: Beat the Heat

Summer in the south is something unique – a blend of relaxation, classic southern hospitality, and one other thing… heat. Columbia is no stranger to sweltering summers… so much so… it’s taken on the nickname, “famously hot.” While most have accepted this way of life, there is a scientific explanation. In this episode of Columbia Chronicles, reporter Johnathan Hayden discusses the facts with a graduate student who’s been researching the rising temps.

Produced and edited by Molly Stover; final production by Ava A. Strauss
