S7E9 - A Cut Above Heart Disease
Episode 9: A Cut Above Heart Disease
For more than a century, heart disease has reigned as the leading cause of death in the United States. About 10% of adults die from cardiovascular disease, and that number reaches 14% in South Carolina. It is especially a problem for black men. In this episode of Columbia Chronicles, reporter Kensley Green presents local innovation that hopes to diminish disease at the heart of the community.
